Licensing Agreements

 Lace Resources International materials

All Lace Resources International materials, whether sold or issued as free resources, are subject to international copyright conventions.

To use these resources for any purpose other than personal activities requires explicit licensing from Lace Resources International.

 

Library Licence

Where a library purchases a resource from Lace Resources International (LRI), that resource may not be used for any profit making activities or for activities such as teaching community courses without getting the  express permission of LRI.


Not For Profit Licence

Where a purchaser of an LRI resource wishes to use that resource for a not for profit activity, such as community courses, a specific request must be sent to LRI to gain a licence.

 That request should include:

  • The purpose of the course
  • The persons for whom it is intended
  • Details of any fee that might be being charged
  • The qualifications of the person running the lace activity

For Profit License

In general terms, LRI resources cannot be used for activities that are designed for personal profit or for the profit of a commercial organisation.

LRI will consider requests for a licence to use materials and any licence that is granted will involve some level of payment to LRI.

A request for a licence should include:

  • The qualifications of the person to carry out the lace-based activity.
  • An outline of the content of the course or activity.
  • The fees that will be charged for participation, including concessions for students, pensioners etc.
  • The nature of the organisation (if any) that is running or is managing the activity.

LRI reserves the right to ask for further information and to check any of the provided information.
